Printing

With your IT Labs account you receive credits for free printing each semester. This works in all IT Labs computer labs and gets reset each semester, including summer, if you open a new account. Windows Software

There are many software packages that IT Labs provides in different labs for student use. For a listing of software available on windows computers, please visit Available Windows Software. Some software is available for installation by IT Labs users through the Windows Control Panel "Add or Remove Programs".

UNIX Software

Free For Students

IT Labs has access to software that students can install on their personal computers. Here is a list of software that we distribute for student use.

  • MSDNAA
  • Matlab
  • Mathematica
  • Open Solaris Live CD/Install disk - Disk available in EE/CS 1-213
  • Latest Ubuntu version - Disk available in EE/CS 1-213

Other Computer Resources

OIT provides free software for students as well. You can view their resources at UTools. This includes Microsoft Office.
