Mailing List Subscription
You can add/remove yourself to/from lists or, if you are the administrator, administrate the list from either
http://mailman.cs.umn.edu or http://mailman.itlabs.umn.edu (Course mailing lists are on itlabs).
Mailing List Setup
Systems Staff can set up mailing lists for faculty members. To create a mailing list, send an email to
with the following information:
- List name
- List owner (email address & full name)
- Administrative Password (Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in clear text.)
- Full List Title
- Open subscription or requires approval of list owner
- Description of list (optional)
Note: We are no longer supporting majordomo mailing lists.
