Public Computer Classrooms and Laboratories
 

The Institute of Technology provides several public computer labs that are reserved for IT students and students in other colleges who have paid the IT technology fee. Students must open an IT labs account in order to use these labs.

This site provides information regarding IT lab account creation, access, and use. This site also provides information regarding the current activity of the IT Instructional Computing Committee. Systems Notices

Fall 2009

  • IT students may now activate an IT Labs account for fall semester.
  • Students using their IT Labs account to access the EECS-WPA wireless network must open a WPA account. Old accounts cannot be renewed.
  • On Thursday, September 3rd, 2009, the EECS-WPA wireless network will no longer support TKIP encryption due to security problems. For more details, see the wireless help pages.

NetFiles

NetFiles gives you 5 GB of free, flexible, disk space. After you Activate Your Account you can upload, access, and manage files from your favorite web browser. By Enabling Web Folders and WebDAV Support you can access files and folders on NetFiles as though they were on your local machine.
