| 5 | 18 | In 2001 we created a "High-End Graphics and Parallel Computing Lab" in ME302. These machines are now 4 years old and need to be replaced. After discussions with ME and AEM, we recommend replacing this UNIX based lab with Windows PCs because applications like ProE and Ansys run better on Windows. The systems we recommend getting are Dell Precision 370s with the new 24 monitors. The high-end graphics portion of the lab was never used very much, but the parallel computing was.
