1) Status reports from CSciE and ADCS
Nothing to report.
2) Presentation of the Public Lab Management Proposals for 2005-06
Hudleston prefaced the presentations by noting that the basic elements of both contracts remain the same as in the past few years, with minor changes that result in the bottom lines of both proposed contracts being somewhat below those of 2004-05, despite an anticipated 3% salary increase and associated fringe benefits costs. MacDonald explained that he had eliminated the web documentation administrator from the CSci contact. He has not been able to find the right person for this job, and in fact the web page is in reasonably good shape as it is. It seems sensible to remove this position from the budget.
Larson explained that the reason for the smaller ADCS budget is because the security cameras have been installed and the need for consultants in the labs has been reduced. It seems that this system is working reasonably well.
Hudleston said that an email ballot for the management proposals would follow shortly.
4) Other Business
None. This is the last meeting of the academic year.
