EE/CS 2-170 (Linux Only) and EE/CS 2-172 (Windows Only)

The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department has priority use for both EE/CS 2-170 and 2-172. This is because at one time the CSE Department was going to have a dedicated computer classroom in Walter Library as part of the Digital Technology Center (DTC), but because of space limitations in the DTC, the Dean's office arranged for the classrooms to be placed in EE/CS 2-170 and 2-172. As part of this arrangement, CSE was given priority in scheduling time in the classrooms, and when not in use by CSE, the rooms will be available to all other IT Departments. When no departments are using the rooms, these labs are open and available to all students with an IT Labs account.

Lind 24 (Windows/Linux)

The Math Department has priority in scheduling Lind 24. This is because the funds used to establish and maintain this classroom were part of the Math Department's proposal for the use of Lower Division Instructional Computing funds. The proposal, as approved, gave the Math Department priority in scheduling Lind 24, and when not in use by Math, the room is available to all other departments for scheduling. If no departments have scheduled the room, then it is used as an open lab for all students with an IT Labs account.

ME 302 (Windows Only)

ME 302 is available to all departments to schedule a few classes per semester in. Unlike EE/CS 2-170, 2-172, and Lind 24; ME 302 can not be scheduled by the same class every week of the semester. ME302 is for classes that might need a classroom a few times per semester for things like demonstrations, or to show students how to use a particular piece of software, etc.

ME 314 (Windows Only)

ME 314 is available to all departments to schedule a few classes per semester in. Unlike EE/CS 2-170, 2-172, and Lind 24; ME 314 can not be scheduled by the same class every week of the semester. ME314 is for classes that might need a classroom a few times per semester for things like demonstrations, or to show students how to use a particular piece of software, etc.
