ADCS Software
-- Academic and Distributed Computing Services offers discounted software
for faculty, students, staff and departments. They maintain a library of
free applications as well.
Free Microsoft Software (MSDNAA)
-- The MSDN Academic Alliance is an annual membership program for technical
departments in the area of Computer Science, Engineering, and Information
Systems. As a member, a department receives an MSDN AA subscription that
includes Microsoft platform, servers, and developer tools software. This
software may be installed on any number of departmental lab machines. In
addition, the department's faculty and students may obtain a copy of the
software to install on their personal computers.
-- GRIT allows students to check their grades online. Please note, you must
be enrolled in classes that are currently using GRIT to distribute grades.
-- This is a subsite that includes documentation relating to the IT Labs,
including but not limited to: printing, security, software, web development,
wireless, email,account management, etc.

Mathematica
-- The Institute of Technology Instructional Computing Committee has
approved the purchase of licenses that allow Mathematica to be downloaded
onto the personal computers of students. The software is available in
Windows, Vista, Linux and Mac versions. You may download a CD image of the
product or pick up a CD from the lab operators in
EE/CS 1-213.
Matlab
-- The Institute of Technology Instructional Computing Committee has
approved the purchase of licenses that allow Matlab to be downloaded onto
the personal computers of students. This student version of Matlab does
not include any toolboxes or other special features. The
software is available in Windows, Vista, Linux and Mac versions. You may
download a CD image of the product or pick up a CD from the lab operators in
EE/CS 1-213.
