UTools -- The Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers discounted software for faculty, students, staff, and departments. They maintain a library of free applications as well.

Forms Online

Free Microsoft Software (MSDNAA) -- The MSDN Academic Alliance is an annual membership program for technical departments in the area of Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Systems. As a member, a department receives an MSDN AA subscription that includes Microsoft platform, servers, and developer tools software. This software may be installed on any number of departmental lab machines. In addition, the department's faculty and students may obtain a copy of the software to install on their personal computers.

GRIT -- GRIT allows students to check their grades online. Please note, you must be enrolled in classes that are currently using GRIT to distribute grades.

Help Pages -- This is a subsite that includes documentation relating to the IT Labs, including but not limited to: printing, security, software, web development, wireless, email,account management, etc.

IT Class Home Pages -- Not all IT classes are listed here. If you are unable to find the class you are looking for, check the department web site.

IT Labs Room Reservation Form -- This is an online form for requesting a classroom reservation.

IT Undergraduate Catalog -- The Institute of Technology section of the Undergraduate Catalog provides information on various subjects such as admission, degree programs, minors, honors program, scholastic policies, advising, international programs, student organizations, faculty, etc.

License Server Status -- Details and status of various IT Labs software license servers

Mail Man -- Use the Mail Man tool to add or remove yourself from IT Labs mailing lists.

UNIX Machine/Hostname -- This page provides a list of available UNIX machines in the IT Labs.

Mathematica -- The Institute of Technology Instructional Computing Committee has approved the purchase of licenses that allow Mathematica to be downloaded onto the personal computers of students. The software is available in Windows, Vista, Linux and Mac versions. You may download a CD image of the product or pick up a CD from the lab operators in EE/CS 1-213.

Matlab -- The Institute of Technology Instructional Computing Committee has approved the purchase of licenses that allow Matlab to be downloaded onto the personal computers of students. This student version of Matlab does not include any toolboxes or other special features. The software is available in Windows, Vista, Linux and Mac versions. You may download a CD image of Matlab for Windows, Linux, or Intel-based MacOS X. You may also download a CD image of Matlab for Power-PC-based MacOS X computers or (for Power-PC-based MacOS X only) you may pick up a Matlab CD from the IT Labs operator in EE/CS 1-213.
